Welcome to the Texas Home Energy Raters Organization (TXHERO).  We currently have four membership classifications:

  • Regular
  • Associate
  • Government
  • Educational

The classification of membership will be determined by the type of organization as listed below:

  • Regular - (Consultant, Home Builder, Home Energy Rater, Home Energy Provider, Home Inspector, or Air Conditioning Contractor).
  • Associate - (Mortgage Lender, Non-profit Organization, Product Manufacturer, Residential Designer, Residential Service Provider or Utility Company).
  • Government - (Government Entity or Weatherization Agency)
  • Educational - (School, Trade School, College, University)
